Substance Abuse Treatment Program in Orange County CA

Substance Abuse Treatment Programs

At Covenant Hills we provide a complete continuum of care in the addiction treatment process, including medical detoxification in an affiliated medical facility, Residential Inpatient services, Day Treatment, Intensive Outpatient care and after-care.

Covenant Hills uses a 60-day treatment model, in which Clients progress from a highly-structured Inpatient Treatment environment under 24-hour supervision to a less structured setting.

Our Men’s programs are located in the picturesque seaside community of San Clemente, California, and our Women’s programs are located in nearby Dana Point.  Our treatment settings provide a comfortable, home-like living environment under 24-hour supervision.  And, both living and treatment settings are gender-separate.

Detox

Clients are assessed to determine whether medical detoxification is required.  If medical detoxification is warranted, clients are transferred, or may be sent initially, to an affiliated medical facility where they will be treated by medical staff, using medications to ease withdrawal symptoms.

Residential Inpatient Treatment

After medical detoxification, treatment at Covenant Hills begins in our Residential Inpatient Treatment program. Here we provide a highly-structured, gender-specific environment in a comfortable residential setting. Our staff of caring professionals administers some of the most effective treatment available. Through lectures, process groups and individual counseling, our staff educates our clients about the psychological, physical and spiritual implications of long-term substance abuse.

Men's Residential Inpatient Treatment

Covenant Hills’ men’s treatment center is a dual-diagnosis treatment center for men only. Here we specialize in helping men who suffer from drug addiction and/or alcoholism, while also addressing any emotional or psychiatric issues that may be contributing to the addiction problem.

We believe that this can only be done properly in a gender-specific environment with an experienced and understanding staff who both understand and relate to the issues that each of our male clients present. We also believe that treatment must remain as individualized as possible. Therefore, we only treat a maximum of 24 men at a time. We believe that this gives us the best possible environment to induce recovery from the insidious disease of addiction. Please take a moment to meet our staff.

Women's Residential Inpatient Treatment

Covenant Hills’ women’s treatment center is a dual-diagnosis treatment center for women only. Here we specialize in helping women who suffer from drug addiction and/or alcoholism, while also addressing any emotional or psychiatric issues that may be contributing to the addiction problem.

We believe that this can only be done properly in a gender-specific environment with an experienced and understanding staff of women who both understand and relate to the issues that each of our female clients present. We also believe that treatment must remain as individualized as possible. Therefore, we treat a maximum of 14 women at a time. We believe that this gives us the best possible environment to induce recovery from the insidious disease of addiction. Please take a moment to meet our staff.

Day Treatment

Our Day Treatment program at Covenant Hills affords clients the opportunity to live at home or in a sober living environment in the area, while participating in the clinical structure of our Residential Inpatient Treatment program. Day Treatment is available once clients have been assessed for clinical appropriateness.

Intensive Outpatient

At Covenant Hills, our Orange County outpatient program gives you the opportunity to heal from addiction while still living your everyday life. You’ll follow the same structure as our residential programs with the same therapy and support you need to overcome addiction.

Transitional Care

For clients who have completed our Residential Inpatient Treatment program, we provide additional treatment in our Transitional Care program.  Here recovery plans are refined, goals are set and damages and issues caused by addictions are addressed, all while living in a much less structured environment.

After-Care

Alumni who graduate from our treatment programs are invited to continue their association by attending our After-care program meetings consisting of instruction, interactive process sessions and group support.
