Substance Abuse Treatment Program in Orange County CA

Substance Abuse Treatment Programs for Drug and Alcohol Addiction Recovery

At Covenant Hills, our faith-based treatment centers provide a complete continuum of care in the addiction treatment process, including medical detoxification in an affiliated medical facility, Residential Inpatient services, Day Treatment, Intensive Outpatient care and after-care.

Covenant Hills uses a 60-day treatment model, in which individuals struggling with addiction progress from a highly-structured Inpatient Treatment environment under 24-hour supervision to a less structured setting.

Our Men’s programs are located in the picturesque seaside community of San Clemente, California, and our Women’s programs are located in nearby Dana Point.  Our treatment settings provide a comfortable, home-like living environment under 24-hour supervision.  And, both living and treatment settings are gender-separate.

Detox

Clients are assessed to determine whether medical detoxification is required.  If medical detoxification is warranted, clients are transferred, or may be sent initially, to an affiliated medical facility where they will be treated by medical staff, using medications to ease withdrawal symptoms.

Residential Inpatient Treatment at Our Christian Addiction Treatment Center

After medical detoxification, treatment at Covenant Hills begins in our Residential Inpatient Treatment program. Here we provide a highly-structured, gender-specific environment in a comfortable residential setting. Our staff of caring professionals administers some of the most effective treatment available. Through lectures, process groups, and individual counseling, our staff educates our clients about the psychological, physical and spiritual implications of long-term substance abuse.

Men's Residential Inpatient Treatment

Covenant Hills’ men’s treatment center is a dual-diagnosis treatment center for men only. Here we specialize in helping men who suffer from drug addiction and/or alcoholism, while also addressing any emotional or psychiatric issues that may be contributing to the addiction problem.

This program is built on a foundation of faith-based recovery programs, integrating the power of Christian faith to help men achieve long-term recovery. Through a holistic approach, we address the root causes of substance use disorders, including alcohol abuse and other mental health conditions, while offering a supportive environment grounded in spiritual practices and religious beliefs.

Our faith-based services emphasize the importance of trusting in God as a higher power and utilizing this powerful tool for true recovery. By combining individualized treatment plans with faith-based addiction treatment and support groups, men can find a lasting recovery that transforms lives and prepares them for a meaningful future. This unique blend of faith-based programming and professional care empowers patients to rebuild their lives through a Christian addiction treatment program that ensures every aspect of the recovery process is infused with hope, compassion, and spiritual connection.

We believe that our program can only be done properly in a gender-specific environment with an experienced and understanding staff who both understand and relate to the issues that each of our male clients present. We also believe that treatment must remain as individualized as possible. Therefore, we only treat a maximum of 24 men at a time. We believe that this gives us the best possible environment to induce recovery from the insidious disease of addiction.

Women's Residential Inpatient Treatment

With a Christian addiction recovery program tailored to meet the unique needs of women, we combine faith-based treatment with a holistic approach to healing. By focusing on the root causes of substance use disorders and mental health conditions, this faith-based rehab program nurtures a supportive environment that uplifts each female individual through the strength of Christian faith.

Our dedicated team integrates faith-based services, including guided spiritual practices and support groups, to help women connect with God as a higher power and rediscover their purpose. This vital component of our faith-based approach helps patients achieve meaningful recovery and equips them with the spiritual foundation needed to transform their lives and pursue lasting sobriety.

Our compassionate and experienced team is dedicated to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by each of our female clients. We firmly believe in the importance of personalized care, which is why we limit our program to a maximum of 14 women at a time. This approach creates an intimate and supportive environment, ideal for fostering recovery from the complex and challenging disease of addiction. We invite you to take a moment to get to know our dedicated staff.

Day Treatment

Our Day Treatment program at Covenant Hills affords clients the opportunity to live at home or in a sober living environment in the area, while participating in the clinical structure of our Residential Inpatient Treatment program. Day Treatment is available once clients have been assessed for clinical appropriateness.

Intensive Outpatient

At Covenant Hills, our Orange County outpatient program gives you the opportunity to heal from addiction while still living your everyday life. You’ll follow the same structure as our residential programs at our rehab facilities with the same therapy and support you need to overcome addiction.

Transitional Care

Here, recovery plans are refined, goals are set and damages and issues caused by addictions are addressed, all while living in a much less structured environment.

Alumni who graduate from our treatment programs are invited to continue their association by attending our Aftercare program meetings consisting of instruction, interactive process sessions and group support.
