We exist to serve the chemically dependent and their families in the context of the local church ministry. We prefer doing so by bringing resource, education and expertise to the local church pastor, counselor and therapist. When a short residential program is needed, we seek to involve the church and counselor in the treatment process with intent to ultimately restore them to their community of faith.

The staff offers two distinct, yet overlapping programs—Christian and Traditional. Our Christian program offers a Christ-centered, biblical approach to recovery. Our Traditional program presents recovery based on God, as the individual may understand Him (as presented in Alcoholics Anonymous). The latter approach allows those that are confused about God or are searching for God the leeway to find Him gracefully, based on His perfect timing.

The 12 Steps as applied by Alcoholics Anonymous have been drawn from the heart of the Scriptures. Our Christian 12-Step program is an integration of these foundational truths as they relate to the chemically addicted and emotionally wounded person. The scriptures provide the guidelines used in our professional counseling and treatment process. Our professional staff consists of Christian men and women, including several ordained pastors who themselves are in long-term recovery.

Clients may choose the Christian or Traditional program, whichever is most comfortable for them. They may change programs at any time during their treatment. Groups that address the medical or physical basis of addiction are blended, while those groups dealing with life skills, spiritual skills and psychotherapy are separated.
