Female clients who have completed our Residential Inpatient Treatment program become candidates for the Covenant Hills Drug and Alcohol Rehab For Women Transitional Care program. While in the residential program, the individual and their case manager begin planning a comprehensive strategy for a long-term recovery.
In the Transitional Care Program, clients continue their treatment and training in a semi-structured, sobriety-valued environment. With the stresses of outside life pushed aside for these weeks, healing continues, recovery plans are refined, and deeper issues are explored. Half-day courses provide a more comprehensive understanding of their diseases and a deeper working relationship to the principles and spirituality found in the 12-Steps. We continue to offer a Women’s Christian Drug and Alcohol Rehab track for those who seek a Christian focus in their transitional care.
Understanding that the recovering addict must essentially re-shape much of their former lifestyle, healthy goals are set, “tools” for living a sober life are provided, and new patterns for relapse prevention are set into place.
